The Cosmic Walk is a ritual created by Sister Miriam MacGillis of Genesis Farm. It has subsequently been modified and facilitated by many people around the world. The Cosmic Walk is a way of bringing our knowledge of the 13.7-billion-year Universe process from our heads to our hearts.
We need to understand our roots, where we have come from and how totally interconnected we are to each other and all creation. Our Earth, her people, and the “other than human” creatures are suffering. We are experiencing the “crucifixion” of Earth by our greed, plunder, violence, war.
The Cosmic Walk shows us there is great hope in our evolutionary journey as the cosmos continues to expand and in the midst of extinctions on Earth, many new plants and creatures are evolving.
We, humans can and must act to save our planet!
