Global Justice
THE GLOBAL JUSTICE TEAM OF HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH
As Christians we are putting our faith into action. The Global Justice Team has engaged in advocacy and
support locally, nationally and internationally.
At the local level we support LOFT’s Street Outreach Van services. We have been involved for many
years with donated goods and volunteer time. We support the Street Outreach Van staff as they meet
with vulnerable and homeless people.
We have engaged in Indigenous relations and climate justice. We share in these issues with KAIROS
Canada: Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives.
Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR) is a respected international relief and development agency of
Lutheran communities. Holy Cross is a strong and committed supporter of CLWR.
