LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Holy Cross Church works on Indigenous territories located on the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and the territory of the Mississauga of the Credit. This territory is an agreement to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Today, this land is still the home to many First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples from across Turtle Island. We are taking part in an act of reconciliation, honouring the land and Indigenous heritage, which dates back more than 10,000 years.
